THANK YOU for taking the time to view my portfolio.

I have been designing for more than 20 years, with experience in all aspects of design within the publishing industry, from sell sheets, point-of-purchase displays, advertising and booth design to entire series design, book covers and interiors, packaging, brochures, logos, and toys. I would love to help bring that expertise to your projects.

I earned a BFA at Parsons School of Design in New York and have taken many post-grad classes in design, computer graphics, and illustration at WCC, Pratt, and NYIT. However, my real education has been to work for such publishers as McGraw-Hill, Millbrook Press, Prentice-Hall, Holtzbrinck, Franklin Watts Grolier, Scholastic, Lerner, Roaring Brook Press, Bedford/St. Martins, Globe Fearon, Harper Collins, Reader's Digest, and Studio Fun, to name a few.

I have expert-level skills in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Acrobat, and understand the specifics of preparing files for press production. Font management, file handling and archiving, dieline creation, digital illustration and photo retouching are all part of my work. I have commissioned and worked in collaboration with illustrators, paper engineers, and freelance designers to achieve the best solution to any problem.

The challenge of shaping a manuscript—or any copy—into a cohesive and exciting visual statement that enhances the written word is a fascinating experience that I never get tired of. I feel privileged that I get to do that every day.

Please feel free to contact me directly to discuss your graphic design needs, or fill out the form below.

I look forward to working with you!
